CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL AT ST THOMAS CHURCH IN LYMINGTON

We loved sponoring a Christmas Tree at this Festival in 2024 so we decided to do it again in 2025!

The church was filled with lots of trees all lit up and some were very ingeniously decorated!

It truly is a magical event - one of our favourite - and we will probably do it again in 2026!

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Our Christmas Party was held on the 11th December in Boldre War Memorial Hall. The hall looked splendid with all the decorations that were made at our November 'All Things Festive' meeting.

We had lots of Christmas party food and a free raffle - some lucky members won a hamper and we evenhad a visit from Santa!

CHRISTMAS LUNCH AT SOUTH LAWN HOTEL IN MILFORD-ON-SEA

We had over 100 people at our Christmas Lunch this year which was amazing and we all enjoyed another wonderful occasion.

The food was delicieous and the service was as impeccable as ever!

We held a very successful raffle which raised some more funds for the Group - with some verygood prizes!

We are doing it all again this year at the same venue - on Friday 18th December 2026

Our 20th November Monthly Meeting was called - 'ALL THINGS FESTIVE'

Christmas items made in November

After the success of our Easter Themed meeting the Social Committee decided to have another Arts & Crafts afternoon in November making - All Things Fesitve!

Members were asked to make decorations for our December ChristmasParty so that we could decorate the hall and make it look very festive!

There was soon a lovely buzz of conversation going on around the hall and members couldn't help but join in singing along to the festive music being played!

We had a Christmas Quiz for members to complete as well so there was a lot going on during the afternoon. Nobody wanted to stop for the festive refreshments so these were served as people carried on to xomplete their decorations!

We now have a lovely stock of Christmas Decoratioins to put up and decorate the hall for our Christmas Party on the 11th December!

OCTOBER HARVEST  DONATION

Harvest 2025

At our October Meeting members celebrated Harvest time by very kindly donating food to be donated to the New Forest Basics Food Bank

Harvest is a time to be thankful for all the good food that we eat and it is also a time to think of those who do not have enough food to eat around the world and closer to home

The New Forest Basics Food Bank were very pleased with our donation - which went straight to make up food parcels for those in need to be collected that very day!

  1. New Milton Lions VJ80 Day - 6th September 2025
  2. Annual Garden Party held on the 21st August
  3. August Bank Holiday Tombola Stall in Lymington Market - Saturday 23rd August
  4. Picnic in the Park held on 3rd August 2025
