We held another very successful Tombola Stall at the New Milton Lions VJ80 Day!
It was a lovely, fun day with lots of people enjoying the weather, the music, the stalls and the fantastic classic cars that were on show!
We raised over £400 to boost our funds which brings us to the end our tombola stalls for this year!
Thank you to all our members for donating the prizes and congratulations to the team who worked so hard to put on all these tombola stalls to raise money for the Group

MEMBERS ENJOYED A WONDERFUL GARDEN PARTY ON THE 21ST AUGUST
We had around 75 people attend – it was lovely to see so many members there, some with friends or family members.
We were also joined by several guests who were invited to join us so that we could say a personal thank you to them. These were people that have helped and supported our Group in so many ways – and even included the New Milton Town Mayor & his wife!
We were entertained by a fantastic group called ‘The Rambling Men’ – they soon had everyone singing along to some old tunes and new – especially ones about trains! We will be asking them to come and perform again!
This was followed by a wonderful spread of food which had been provided by some of our members – it tasted as good as it looked!
We had some great raffle prizes and one lucky member took home a lovely big hamper full of delicious goodies!
We have all voted it the best Garden Party ever – and hope to do it all over again next year!

We held another Saturday August bank holiday weekend Tombola stall in Lymington market. This time there was no rain and the weather was good – not too hot!
There were lots of people about and our stall was kept very busy with people trying their luck and hoping to win one of our lovely prizes!
We were given quite a few generous donations too – and we spoke to lots of people who stopped to chat and tell us their stories about how their relatives or friends had been affected by Parkinson’s.
We raised a total of £737.00 from the tombola stall and our ‘For Sale’ table – the best yet!

John & I were part of a group of Western Road residents who organised a Street Party for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee in 2002. The first Garden Gate Sale was held as a fundraiser for the event and has been held on and off over the years ever since!
The idea is that each resident who wants to take part pays a fee of £5.00 for their stall and the proceeds are donated to a local Charity. This year the residents chose to support our Group.
The Garden Gate Sale was held on Sunday 8th June between 10.00am - 12.00pm. We set up a Tombola Stall in our front garden along with some items we had for sale. It was a lovely morning and we were kept very busy - everyone loves a Tombola! We had lots of people tell us of their family experiences of Parkinson’s and people were very generous.
WE MADE £177.50 ON THE TOMBOLA AND STALL FEES
DONATED WERE £105.00
GRAND TOTAL OF £282.50
A BRILLIANT RESULT FOR A BRILLIANT DAY
