When somebody is first diagnosed with Parkinson’s they often don’t know where to turn to for advice and information. They will have so many questions about their diagnosis – usually this is about Parkinson’s itself, their treatment and how it will affect their lives and the lives of their Carers, family and friends.
By reaching out and joining our Group people with Parkinson’s, their Carers, friends and family can find the support and help they need to face their future.
Newly Diagnosed Seminars
In conjunction with the local Parkinson’s Consultants & Nurses, very successful ‘Newly Diagnosed’ Seminars are held at Lymington Hospital four times each year for people who have just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
Invitations to attend these Education Days are organised by the Parkinson's Clinic at Lymington Hospital.
