Helpline - call 0808 800 0303 to get in touch – Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 2pm. The Helpline is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays
The helpline is a free confidential service providing support to anyone affected by Parkinson's.
Their trained advisers, including specialist Parkinson's nurses, can provide information and advice about all aspects of living with Parkinson's, such as:
- medical issues, including symptoms and treatments
- employment and benefits
- health and social care
- emotional support
- local activities
- signposting to other sources of information
They can also put you in touch with a Parkinson's Adviser if you need more local or in-depth support.
The Parkinson’s Advisors can support anyone with Parkinson’s, their family or carer
Parkinson’s UK have a wide range of free, very informative leaflets and booklets that cover all aspects of Parkinson’s – such as symptoms and side effects, treatments and therapies and benefits.

Grants – Parkinson’s National Grant Fund
There is a Grant Fund available to help pay for electrical items, home adaptations, respite care and specialist equipment, as well as socialising, meeting new people or improving fitness and wellbeing.
People living with Parkinson’s and unpaid carers can apply – being in receipt of Carer’s Allowance is not counted as being paid. All applications are treated in the strictest confidence.
